Caroline M. Mastal
As a caring therapeutic horticultural practitioner, Caroline supports her clients through meaningful, hands-on gardening activities to refresh the spirit and cultivate renewed energy, balance, and emotional well-being.
Rooted Together was born out of Caroline’s love and passion for gardening- instilled by her mother and father who kept an inviting garden at their home and regularly included their children’s involvement.
Throughout her many years traveling and visiting botanical gardens all over the world, Caroline grew in her appreciation for the valued sense of peace and tranquility a garden transcends to the soul.
Professional Background
Caroline is truly passionate about experiencing the power of nature to support healing, connection to self and others, and the restoration to well-being.
Caroline holds a certificate in Therapeutic Horticultural Practices, a B.S. in Life Sciences from the University of Maryland, and has been a Master Gardener for over ten years. Caroline is also a devoted mother and proud parent to six accomplished children and currently has four beautiful grandchildren.
